Dortmund Erling Haaland’s “scoring machine” proved to be effective when he tapped the ball with his left foot in the Bundesliga win over Schalke in the Bundesliga.
“I’m training to finish with my right foot. It’s great to score with that foot,” Haaland told the Bundesliga after Dortmund won 3-0 against Schalke.
Haaland is the author of the table to increase the score to 2-0. He scored a delicate ball tire from his right foot, which was not the right foot. It was his 23rd goal in 26 games for Dortmund. Of which, 17 came from the left foot forte and one with the head.
The fact that Haaland scored with his right foot also surprised his teammates. Defender Akanji said: “This is the first time I see Haaland tire the ball to score. Normally he shoots hard. He’s a good striker, especially when playing around the box. He, if you don’t want to lose. It’s good to practice with good strikers to improve every day.
Since moving from RB Salzburg to Dortmund in January, Haaland has become a phenomenon of German football. He scored 16 goals in 18 Dortmund games for the second half of the 2019-2020 season and seven in the first eight games this season. In the first five Bundesliga games this season, the 20-year-old striker scored five goals.
The continuous progress and improvement is helping Haaland reach the sights of the big teams. Liverpool, Man Utd and Real are expected to compete for the signature of the young Norwegian striker in the near future.
